MTN might move up to World Tour.

Despite their activity on the transfers market, I don't think they're WT material. Well neither are Europcar for that matter.

Hmm, interesting move. Not sure whether a good or bad decision. Let's see if it works out for them.

Think they would need two or three more riders IAM think they could be contacted as well.

Very glad to hear George Bennett signed with LottoNL! He seems like a nice guy (he is hilarious on twitter) and I think he has talent but unfortunately he hasn't really been able to show it so far in his career. I was worried it wasn't gonna happen for him anymore. Good for him!
I'm also glad for him, he is a good climber, in utah he was very good againts guys like horner, danielson, kelderman and evans and also in the fist week of the vuelta. He has talent, perhaps not enough to be a leader, but he can be a good help in the mountains for kelderman.

I added Mohoric because it was confirmed by a cyclingnews article, haven't seen confirmation on the others.

Cyclingnews is probably the slowest cycling site in terms of transfers and not one to follow much.

However even they confirmed those riders too ;)

* forgot to add Villela too in the previous list *

Yes, I saw that article when it came out....and the only semi-confirmation I see is for Formolo. The others were only offered deals, nothing about them accepting.

"We hope that those eight riders come over but there’s no obligation for that to happen and it’s of course all pending on Biological Passport checks,"

And I welcome info from any source, was just using the Mohoric article as an example of confirmation.

Presumably they have all been using the security of having a contract that the team will honour but that they aren't bound by to shop around for better offers. It's not a situation most riders find themselves in, so they would be wise to take advantage and see if there are superior options available without risking being left out in the cold.

Still, I would expect all or almost all of them to sign with Garmin/Cannondale in the end.

I reckon someone like Moser could be pretty interesting for Lampre... actually, all of them could ;)

Lampre could certainly offer him leadership in a lot of races and probably good money, given the sparseness of their roster. On the other hand, I tend to think that Garmin are more likely to give him a needed boot in the hole performance-wise.

Pff they should better re-sign Horner or get some Iranians on board instead of hiring semi-retired Sanchez and Plaza.

It's getting more and more laughable with Lampre. Unless Costa the most flashing thing of this squad is their jersey. Maybe they should invest in a proper medical program for the squad first of all as they even were stupid enough to **** up Ulissi and Horner.

It's just pathetic.

Wait ... Duarte!? Omg should I laugh or should I cry :D
