They have been looking for another sponsor for a couple of years now apparently without any luck, maybe this is Rihs forcing the issue but I won't shed any tears seeing the management of this team out of the sport

sagan has a contract for next year, so it wouldn't be a surprise. majka also has a contract and continues to be a good bet for the GTs.

sagan didn't win anything big last year besides the WC. this year things are different. he's in the form of his life.

Apparently Chris Hamilton has signed for World Tour team Giant Alpecin. The 3 year deal should see the current Australian U23 champ race in Europe from 2017 onwards with his first world tour race more than likely the TDU in January.

Although French publication l’Equipe has reported that BMC will quit its backing of a WorldTour team at the end of 2017, team owner Andy Rihs has told CyclingTips that the squad is a long term project.

That's indeed a major Dutch sponsorship of an enterprise based in Switzerland officially.

I suggest they're becoming a big team registered in the Netherlands (again) in that case!?

Although their farm team was rumored to be German, right?
