Wasn't Majka also rumoured to go to Bora? And there was some other climber I can't remember the name of. And Tony Martin..
Some team that is going to be!

Wouldn't it be wiser to use one of them in other GTs?

Neither twin has ridden the Giro.

UK riders are not so keen for the Giro :p

they re-upped for 2016 after they were offered a Tour ride (then Simon messed up...)

same procedure for 2017. and Chaves wants to have a go in France too.

maybe Orica wont go for GC in the Giro 2017, they'll try Tour and Vuelta

Yes it would be, it makes absolutely no sense to have all of their GC prospects going for the same GT. Surely someone like Adam wouldn't mind a shot at the Giro and so signed an extension.

I need to clarify this post. The plan is for Chavez GC for TDF and the Yates boys to lead at Giro and Vuelta. Plan is for Yates boys to do 2 GT'S in 2017. Support Chavez in TDF and lead one themselves.

This plan could change if parlours are unsuitable for Chavez . The second back up in case of injury is Kreuzegir will lead the Giro.

Can say that in two years OBE won't have 3 GC riders.

Why would you have Chaves lead at the Tour?
I'd argue Yates's 4th in the Tour is more impressive than Chaves' 2nd in the Giro.
Why wouldn't you have Chaves go back to the Giro for the win and both the Yates at the Tour.

(Yes i know White said Chaves is going to the tour) But it doesn't make sense.

I might be wrong, but In pretty sure all the talk about Chaves leading at the Tour next year happened before A.Yates finished 4th. Plans might have changed now and could change again after the Vuelta.

Pastroneff is clued up about OBE so take notice of his posts.

Olli - Nothing wrong with each of the three riders leading one GT each - At the end of the day you are giving each rider the same opportunity - It could well be all three ride at the TDF.

Kluge is an interesting signing - Add to the sprint team for Ewan and of course is a longer term replacement for Hayman and Tuft who are both 38.

Question is can you be both a GC team and a sprint team ? I doubt it - Time will tell.

On the topic of IAM. We have rumours or news about Brändle, de Venyns, Frank, Enger, Kluge, Naesen, Pantano, van Genechten and Warbasse.

But that still leaves Aregger, Chevrier, Clement, Coppel (who is considering retirement because of his inability to find a new team), Denifl, Elmiger, Fumeaux, Haussler, Hollenstein, Howard, Laengen, Lang, Pellaud, Pelucchi, Reynès, Saramotins, Tanner, Wyss and Zaugg without any transfer buzz that I've seen.
