Trek-Segafredo signed Ryan Mullen (Cannondale) and Alex Frame (JLT Condor) for the next two seasons.

Interesting to see Trek signing younger riders rather than their usual elder statesmen. Mullen should be a very useful addition. I don't know too much about Frame, except that he's a trackie who did well on the Conti circuit this year.

Yeah Trek are looking kind of weak unless they get Aru. Degenkolb is not currently looking like the rider he was - and he's not far from 29, so if he doesn't improve next season will he ever get back to form?

Wait... 29 is the now you're old separation-line?

No, it's: he should be peaking at 29, so if he doesn't get better next year, when and why would he in the future after that?

Maybe he already peaked? I mean, MSR and P-R in the same season, that's... pretty good.

I've read on a Polish forum that Felix Grossschartner is set to join a WT team in 2018 but it's not known which one, yet.
Durning the Österreich Rundfahrt the Austrian commentators said that the was looking for a WT contract.
He'd be a solid climbing domestique.

Yes, I suggested that when I said: "Degenkolb is not currently looking like the rider he was"

You also said he should be peaking at 29, but if he already peaked he surely doesn't need to peak again.

I really don't think this is difficult to understand.

-His results show a decline (has he already peaked, or was it the injury?).
-Since he is about to reach the normal peak age......
-He should improve next season......
-Unless he has already peaked (or the injury or whatever)

If you can't understand that, then I'm sorry.

But you're focusing too much on "normal peak age". Just because most riders peak at 29, doesn't mean everybody has to. Horner peaked at +40 for crying out loud.
As for Degenkolb, well, if your peak is the MSR+P-R double, then I think you can probably have a pretty good career for a few years after falling below your peak, regardless of getting hit by a car.

It looks like Sepp Kuss will go to Lotto Jumbo. Few days ago I saw something about it on twitter and he was recently followed by Merijn Zeeman and Sander Kruis. Also tweet with wishes for him from today was liked by only one person - Grischa Niermann.

Bjorg Lambrecht will go pro (Lotto Soudal) 6 months earlier than previously mentioned. He'll probably start his season in Mallorca.

Vanhoucke to stay at the U23s?

Yes, till July 2018.

that will be it for incoming riders at Lotto Soudal, they lack budget to get other riders

after Gallopin and Roelandts leaving that must have freed up some budget no?
