So, Lawrence Naesen joins his brother at Ag2R.
Davide Martinelli joins his (DS) father at Astana.
Stijn Steels joins his (DS) uncle at Quickstep.
Nairo and Dayer Quintana are likely to be reunited at Arkea.

What is this? The year of family reunions?

Rumor has it Savio will sign Alexander Cepeda. I'd be ecstatic if it turned out to be true.
I already mentioned that it was an option when Savio refused to mention the nationality of the South American climber that he was in talks with some time ago, that would be pretty awesome.

This would be the weirdest transfer I've seen in a long time.

Does this mean he will ride at u23 level next year? It was reported he would immediately turn pro in previous posts.

Yes, he will ride 1 year in U23.

Would be amazing. With Landa and Quintana gone, they should have a decent amount of money!

Ahrensmann and Donovan to Sunweb in 2020. Ahrensmann starting in summer.

Former is obvious, latter not so much.

Pleased for Donovan, but very surprised. He's been mediocre this year, compared with his first season at U23. Arensman also hasn't really done anything so far this year, but was injured at the start of the season I suppose.

EDIT - Just noticed how young Sunweb's squad for next year is. Only 5 riders over the age of 25, with Chad Haga the oldest at 30

They have both had injury marred seasons. The level they showed last year is enough to deserve the step up to WT level though.

Sunweb now desperately needs their talents to step up, especially the climbers.

Ah, cheers. Didn't realise Donovan had been injured as well. I agree about last year's level. And maybe all the U23 climbers going well this season have been signed?

Looks like Jai Hindley heard your request in Poland today. Very quiet year till now
