"Tremendous Impotence" - Fran Contador

Fran Contador has a way with words:

“There’s a feeling of tremendous impotence because the only thing you can do is give your version of the story, which we’ve already done, and wait until a decision is made,”

Also, how amusing is it that Velonews chose to use this wording for another story?

"Reports: Contador Tour blood sample indicates IV use"

As if to imply it was for receiving an IV (of saline)...Is that how you all read it to mean? Kind of blunts the truth of what the article and information spells out. In fact, the headline gets it wrong, as it is a urine test giving these indications... Tsk, tsk, Velonews. Shabby work.

Yes, Alberto blames the filet and Fran and Jacinto can blame the translation. There's always a grandmother, a filet or something :D

To be fair, IV use is a broad term, which is appropriate without additional evidence that proves what the IV was for.

Hypocrites abound. Like Fraudhters.

It's tough to swallow. Unless your'e Freddy Armchair watching the TdF. Fred has seen this cool-glasses, intellectual-looking, scientific-sounding guy babbling about his clean team and his leadership in clean cycling. Did I mention his hip and very cool glasses?

But racers and sport-followers see lipstick on a pig.

Why so mad?

I don't see why you are so mad. The TDF organizers will NOT let
Contador race in either the Tour or his usual spring stomping ground,
the Paris-Nice. The Giro organizers have always seemed to look
the other way when it comes to dopers, so he might do that race, but
he will certainly be persona-non-grata at the Tour.
They've done it before to him, and they will certainly now do it again.

Yes, not a big Vaughters fan either.

I hope he gets subpoenaed by the Feds and is forced to tell what he saw go on at US Postal.

That's the only way he gets redemption. If not, he's no different than any other guy who partook in organized doping to whatever degree as a rider and now becomes the voice of clean cycling while upholding the vow of omerta-a gigantic hypocrite.

Thor and Vaughters were taking a crap in the woods.

Thor turned to Vaughters and asked, "Do you have problems with turd sticking to your hair?"

"No", said Vaughters.

So Thor wiped his a$$ with Vaughters' head.
Damn. I can't find that 'like' button
