Well lets not rush things. I assume you had a question you wanted to ask?

Not here.. on the other topic. And was the same kind of what Frank Day asked who was banned as far as I know, because he made these questions. So no thanks.. I'll keep my questions for my self because I don't want to be banned for questions that already are considered as trolling.

Well seeing you incorrectly assumed I thought that power meters improve performance and that I have started my research with a bias perhaps your question is not the one, or asked in the way or context that got Frank in trouble. He was only banned for week. He is back and still posting nonsense. Maybe you can do better.

Actually, alitogata accurately paraphrased your statement (made in the opening paragraph in the Power meter thread). He didn't assume it.

One common misconception with power meters is that they don't actually add in power to you cycling (I know, who would think such a thing) only measure it to allow for a wide range of testing in various situations.
Yes, we can guess from subsequent posts that you mis-stated your position (you actually believe that the misconception is "power meters do add power", while the correct conception is that they don't) but it is surely inappropriate to say alitogata made an incorrect assumption.

Ha ha classic. Egg on my face there.

Okay, for the record, I don't believe power meters add power to one's riding. Surprised it's taken this long for someone to point that out.

Um yourself?

Funny how some people who should be adults, still haven't figured out how to not be bothered by those they do not want to interact with, its as if they purposely look for it and then not only reply to it but complain about it N-thousand times repeating the same argument over and over again. I think they either lied in the age requirement section of the registration or are just too handicapped to deal with conflict and should probably be banned for their own good.

When Franky Day asked you to define this ,you took his question for trolling and you report his post to the moderation team. So, it seems, ( or that is what I get from what you said), that you don't want objections on your topics and that everyone objecting or asking is considered as troll.

And then you invite me, very polite indeed, to join the discussion in your topic.. but tell me really.. Do you expect me to do so if you already behaved this way to Frak Day?? ( which I will repeat I don't know him and I have never talked to him, it could be anyone else).

So to conclude. Those who think that anyone who objects or asks something in a topic is doing in order to hijack the topic, then will have a forum topic that will look more like a blog entry. Nobody will join the discussion because usually people get in discussions in order to discuss and not to be banned.

And something else about this ( bold letters).

I don't have to prove anything to anyone, not just you. I say this as a clarification.

Thank you for the nice conversation we had here.. Have a good time and be always well. :)

Can you direct me to the point where Frank pointed out my rather embarrassing faux-pas. All I see is him repeated asking where is the scientific evidence that a power meter improves performance.

I'm picking that English is a second language for you so manybe you don't really see the level of trolling that I, many others and the moderators felt was pretty evident. I make no apologies for the way I behave to Frank. He has been banned from other forums for similar behaviour.

Plenty of people joined in including other power meter experts like Alex Simmons and Dr Andy Coggan (who wrote THE book on the subject).

Did you actually have a question?

Oh com'on of course English is not my first language, I have told that from the very beginning but I think I was very clear in this post.

No I don't get were is the level of trolling on asking you to support the claim you did on your very first post.
If you didn't mean what you wrote, you should have to correct it or reply to this guy and define what he didn't get. I didn't get what you wanted to say as well, but I didn't post because I thought that you would reply to this guy and that it would be redundancy to ask the same thing.

I really don't care were else this guy is banned. I have been banned once from a forum because I told them that I don't like chickens..:D ( not kidding.. it is true.. they said that this was a post full of hate.. ha ha ha ha)..

Anyway.. I think that you over reacted in this case, you kept on telling that he is trolling, while you could just clarify to him, and me and anyone else reading, what you really meant. Is not that big deal to make another post instead of make so much fuss.

And ok I agree that Franky Day insisted and took it some how personally, but it was your thread and you could end this crosstalk with just one clarifying post.

P.S.. I hope that my English are not that bad to trouble you when you reading my posts.. I'm trying to write correct and be comprehensible. But is not that easy because I think in my language some times and it is difficult for me to write what I'm thinking in English. ( but with a little more practice I hope to get better.. )

Well, that is the thing, for my own amusement I have gone through the first 22 pages of the power meter thread for my own amusement and Frank never pulled me up for my embarrassing faux-pas. This was only pointed out to me today.

I was not the only one to call him on his trolling and when we started complaining he was advised by the mods to stop.

What had I not clarified in the thread?

Sounds like a CN forum thread that already exists :p How many mods would be involved in that thread :D
