I've had BPC on ignore for a while. I have enjoyed it, but I must admit I have also enjoyed "watching" other people pulling their hair out in frustration with his continual non-answers and baseless arguments. Its kinda fun to view from a distance. In some ways I would like to keep him, kind of like a CN Pet Troll.

I see what you are saying, but the problem is that it just ruins threads. As soon as a good discussion starts it gets buried 5 pages back in a matter of minutes.

Here is something to keep in mind, obvious as it might seem: you need to be logged-in for your ignore list to function. Browsing here while not logged-in and obviously you will still see the posts you want to ignore...

Not that they are being ignored look for Wonderboy and BPC to start imaginary conversations with lots of "You are Brave" "That took lots of courage" "I think we can all agree". Once that flames out he will start up yet another username and troll some more.

I give him 3 days before he launches his next username.

I'm possibly speaking out of turn here, as although I've been a member for several weeks I am, for a variety of reasons, far more of a lurker than a poster.

Whilst not 100% sure that BPC is a Troll, I have found him to be largely an annoyance. I found his contention that being held in Contempt of Court or even Perjuring oneself to be more honourable than being honest in any situation particularly galling to my moral compass. And if the conjecture earlier in this thread that WonderLance is his Sock Puppet is true (I have no way of knowing but it should be easy for site Admins to tell) then I have to commend his Troll-craft in debating with himself.

Having been a member of many fora over the years (lurker on most, major contributor on few) I have to concur with the sentiment of the OP and several other posters:

Ahhh, yes. That was a great example of troll craft. Telling Betsy she should have lied under oath as it was the right thing to do, with of course adding the "I think we can all agree on this"....knowing nobody agreed with such obvious trolling.

I have to say, replying to your own quotes is a bit much. I worry about you. I actually liked your work as The Arbiter, but the quality of your work has unfortunately decreased as the quality has increased.

And that is the biggest problem. As I wrote on the logistics thread, I come here to share opinions and also to learn from many of you who have far greater experience with pro level cycling. I enjoy the humour in many of the troll wars, but it has just gone way too far. At the very least, perhaps BPC you could take a few days off and invest the time in drafting some new material. You, in alter ego form, used to be more entertaining. Now it's boring. Sorry.

Well, to be fair I'm not here to tell anyone to do anything. I did suggest in the logistics thread that all parties who participate in this mess stick to cycling. In the spirit of fairness, TFF and Race Radio (I still prefer Eva Maria, that was a classic username) do contribute some very informative posts, whereas a much greater percentage of yours are attack/defend/attack.

Do you sleep? It is very late in the UK!

Nobody could escape that from reading the threads. Especially TTF - he insults people in nearly every post, and I know for a fact he has one sock account. Looks to me as if they are more defend/attack/defend. The invasion comes and you have to defend. Obviously there are week points in your arguments and these have to be attacked, then the personal insults come and defending is required. Its the haters who launch the first attacks.

Unfortunately, I have to read posts by from the troll when others quote them. Hopefully ignoring them will become more of a trend for everyone. I can assure you that he has no desire to constructively discuss anything. He merely wants to disrupt and get attention. Hopefully, this thread will be a sink hole that pulls them in and will frustrate them to the point that they quit.
