I think Tyler is in the same boat as Floyd - never actually SEEN Lance dope.

This is a quote from the letter Floyd Landis wrote, which is all over the internet-

"During that Tour de France [2003] I personally witnessed George
Hincapie, Lance Armstrong, Chechu Rubiera, and myself receiving blood
transfusions.

Come on, Polish. Give up the ghost already with your BS.

I missed that part of the letter, thanks.

If true, it seems Lance is more of a Team Player than I thought.

True Musketeer Status. All for One and One for All.
Actually, that is the way doping SHOULD be done.

Sneaking off your own to shoot up is kind of stuck up & creepy.

Sure, Lance probably encouraged Tyler to dope.
"Everyone is doing it"

Probably very few guys/gals have actually seen Lance stick the needle in his arm.

You might want to read Floyd's letter, he saw Lance dope

Yeah, it's easy to miss that sentence when your nose is so far up your hero's a$$.

Supporting Floyd...

I never thought he was clean and all the folks (fools) who gave money will try to make him a hero now.
He swore on his mother and on Larry King that his was clean. He lied, cheated and it didn't work out now he just wants pay day. Have some courage and call a spade a spade. You don't have to be in the military to live by the honor code.

I guess it depends on if he wants to re-open old wounds or still nurses some grudges. But I think there are others who'd be more likely candidates to open up on Lance then Hamilton.

You mean seeping, pus dripping, cysts which are open sores barely scabbed over?

Yup, but pharmstrong took Tyler's nuts. Face it, the guy is a wus.

Depression

Tyler suffers from depression. Don't think hanging with Floyd is what the doctor would order, if you get my drift.

what about Heras?

Heras is the other one time ally, left the mafia to pursue own ambitions, got busted and then blackballed.

I fear some of the "insiders" will be coming out with "only Floyd was doping that's why we got rid of him" stories soon.

Max van Heeswijk has already started.

I can't imagine Heras feels very good about what happened to him? Why won't he talk?

Big names who thought they were immune. Di Luca, Rebellin, and all the other recent passport catches. All feeling mighty ****ed off that they get lumbered while the hog machine and the kazakh miracle roll on.

Won't any of them talk now?

It might depend on how the situation with Landis develops. At the moment, there doesn't seem to be anything they have to gain by bringing others down.

Levi will crack. May be not now, but eventually.
Horner fancies himself as a bit of a writer, so expect a few novels from him.
Hincapie will just go away quitely and shoot animals somewhere.

I don't know about DS, but I believe he'll remain involved in the cycling business in some form. He already owns a cycling apparell line that sponsors several domestic teams.

Do it Tyler. Right now you have no respect at all from the informed cycling fan or amateur racer that knows the sport. We know you doped and we know you lied. We saw what it did to you and we see what a pathetic human being you've become.

Like the Phoenix from the ashes you could wash that all away by coming out in support of Floyd and doing your part to fix the corrupt system that broke you like a dog. This is your last real chance to become a man again. Man up.

Tyler has no more credibility than Floyd- who cares what he has to say ? I don't.

Lives Destroyed

Passage through USPostal/Discovery destroyed a lot of lives. Hamilton, Landis, Heras, the names go on and on and on. All of them with careers wrecked, reputations destroyed, finances doomed. Only one jets from mansion to mansion on different continents, gets millionaire endorsement deals, and shines bright as a clean American hero. The question is not why would the others speak up, but why wouldn't they?

Everyone got ground up and spit out by the Bruyneel Machine, all these shadows of selves sneaking about in ridiculous little exhibition races, meekly keeping to the code of silence that ruined their lives. They don't break the code because breaking the code means they would be blackballed. But they're already blackballed and they didn't even break the code. Do these riders really believe the code of silence protects them? It's used by the powerful riders to protect themselves at the expense of all the poor suckers who get caught.

You can't discount the human toll and stress these guys have already experienced. I know clean former teammates of Armstrong prior to USPS. They don't even want to talk about current pro cycling because it is so irrelevant to what they thought the sport to be. Openning old wounds and accepting further exile is what will likely greet any of these guys, unfortunately.

They all were in very good shape financially at Postal.

The problems happened AFTER they joined OTHER teams.

Was Bruyneel responsible for Floyd's problems at Phonak?
For Tyler's problems at CSC?
For Hera's problems at Liberty Seguros-Würth

Had they stayed with Lance/Bruyneel, things might have worked out much better for them.

They were expected to be happy water-carriers. Forgive them for their ambition. That they were popped as contenders on other teams says only that one team had better program security than the others, no more.
