quick question

I'm doing the dragon ride on sunday and have a tyre choice ? the specialized all condition pro II's on the bike with about 5oo miles on them and a couple of deep cuts or a brand new set of continental ultra sport tyres I have in the garage never used. both 25c.

If the continentals should I put a couples of miles on them 1st ? or will grip be ok brand new ?

any opinions appreciated..........

conti's, no doubt in my mind. far superior to spesh's the in every way apart from weight possibly. in my experience, conti rubber seems to be perfectly cured for temperate northern european climate. i switched from AC Armadillo's to GP 4 Seasons about 3 years ago and would never go back.

The conti's no doubt. I did a century ride sunday on new GP4000S to scrub them in and will be using them for dragon ride also. After other brands I used (michelin, schwalbe) conti's are superb tyres and long lasting too. See you there!
