It's probably good for the race. Widar, Nordhagen and Pericas will have to try earlier now on Saturday and will probably have to make war on Sunday too, but I fear Tuckwells advantage here is gonna be a bit too big given his form and the fact that he has a very strong team.

Ok if they can get to 1'30 it's still a very good position to be in for Red Bull but not mission impossible for the others.
Race is over imho. Tuckwell was the one chasing down Nordhagen two days ago, and ended up finishing ahead of Nordhagen.

I have a very important question!

Did Luke... tuck well?

The rise of the development teams makes it harder to assess how good someone like Turconi is compared to Omrzel than it used to be - late 2005 with two years' pro v early 2006 with a development team.

Omrzel maybe a bad example as his Slovenia performance was way better than anything Turconi has ever done, but I mean the PRT v WT development team split. I feel like five years ago if you were u21 and a pro you had the advantage over the others with the better set-up, training, equipment, nutrition etc, but now?
And the UCI respond to this by allowing riders on teams like Visma Development and UAE Gen X into the U23 world championships, but not those on Flanders Baloise or Solution Tech
