Cosnefroy (aka The Cheese King) is off to UAE to win the races he's already won. Does this mean UAE will try to get the magic 100 season wins in 2026?

It might sound strange, because everyone thinks that at UAE you ride for Tadej,” he said. “But I will hardly ever be riding alongside him.”
Instead, Cosnefroy has been recruited to target races where UAE has traditionally shown little interest. The team is even set to line up at French one-day races it has never previously contested, a shift Cosnefroy believes is closely linked to his palmares.
“UAE will ride the GP du Morbihan for the first time,” he noted, pointing out that it is a race he has already won three times.

Well, they lost Ayuso and Covi. And both of them had a good contribution, more than 10 wins if I'm not wrong. It wil be hard to have more wins.
But then again, I was thinking the same when they lost Hirschi and Ulissi, so I guess it's not impossible.

French cup races were the last bastion of good competitive road racing away from the super teams and the sheikhs. That bald Satanist and his triollionaire power hungry cabal are going to kill the sport. We have to stop this.

At least after yesterday they have something to work on.
How to win a four up sprint when you hold a three to one advantage.
Perhaps best not to have Poggi as the coach.

Something I've been wondering, if they're unable to call in replacement for their - as it turns out - four riders who left the TDU with broken bones, could they be forced to use their one slot to opt out of a WT race for the CEGORR?

UAE has several riders injured (Navarez, Vine, Bjerg and Laengen), some of them will be sidelined for several weeks. I am wondering if this will put UAE under a Little pressure. The Need to adjust the schedules of some riders, send them to more races, shorten the preparation periods and this may lead to having some riders not in top form at the races in spring in the near Future. Means maybe the key riders Need to start pulling earlier, or a „weaker“ Rider than Peak Navarez needs to do the Job.

It would be very stupid if there isn't some provision in the UCI rules for this. In other words, it wouldn't surprise me if UAE are screwed.

Can't they simply send a couple of riders from the Devo team in these races rather than messing up with the preparation of their star riders? Obviously it will weaken their team in Algarve or UAE, for example, but the team isn't crucial in these races anyway.
Plus, I suppose they could easily skip some of the smaller race they are not obliged to ride in. They should be fine.

Yes it is possible, and I think they will do so. But this could lead to Minor „difficulties“. Having more devo rider as Support guys when you want to get yourself a good result could be a Problem for riders like Christen, McNulty, Soler etc. who are not strong enough to win by themselves but are mostly sacrificing their own chances in many races because they get the possibility to win in These small races were they now start with weaker squads or Even have to withdraw from the competition to no interrupt preparation for the important races.
No big Problem but a shadow in the crystal clear Blue UAE Sky that could get a rainy cloud.

Can't use DT riders in a WT race.
