Some weather models predict a bit more wind now for monday. Between 20-26, and more importantly, from the perfect direction for the first part of the race. Might be a bit stressfull but doubt something happens. Similar to last year.

For now there's a bit more wind predicted at the end of the week again. Might see some echelon stuff on the Jebel Hafeet stage like last year, but too early too tell of course.

That's good enough for echelons, specially with this strong and powerful sprint teams more UAE with very strong roulers supporting Pogacar

Depends. 26 is strong enough, 20 isn't to make big enough gaps probably given that 2nd part of the race the wind won't be in a good direction.

It was a bit more than 20 last year, also good direction and nothing happened.

UCI points for the top 10 in each stage and for guys all the way down to 60th on final GC. So we get to see the hearthrob of millions (no not Pogi) but Haoyu Su and his Astana buddies gunning it en masse for those bigly UCI points.
Otherwise, Lenny VE hopefully stays upright and gives it a good go.

edit - add - Froomey 's back! Yeah!

on paper it's a bit harder than the Catalunya sprint Roglic and Pogacar (more or less) won the past two years, but yeah... maybe not in UAE.

Yeah that's completely different cause in that Catalunya stage the whole peloton is already stretched out before they hit the final slopes. They go through a very technical city there. I also always feel like that finish is harder than it looks on paper.
