Have the UCI released any response (even 'the dog ate my homework' type) yet?

They wrote back to a senior para athlete's letter saying stuff about UCI restructuring, a plan has been approved by the executive, tell us what you want and we'll bring it up at next meeting, blah blah blah.

But nothing about why it was not done, nor anything about what they are doing to fix it.

All they needed to say was "yes, our bad, we screwed up, been lots of changes here and it got missed, and it's now our #1 priority as the paracycling commission to fix it and we're in discussions with the IPC about the approval process and we expect to have this resolved by ...."

Ah, adding insult to injury. Who would have expected less of the UCI?

The whole thing is just shameful!

The UCI should have been preparing before Cookson took office. Of course the IPC should have been checking with the UCI prior to the deadline ("are you guys planning to compete in 2020?")
