Climbs look good and plenty enough, not fan of the smooth descents - would like to see more roots and rocks (technical stuff). Nice jumps to get the A liners the advantage. That mandatory (for now) 2-3m gap though - I'd imagine some ladies (all categories) might have a problem with it - I wonder if really stays like that or there will be a plank (yes MVdP, i'm looking at you ) or B line during the race.

Nino with his mythical ultra world championship peak against Pidcock coming straight in with TDF supercompensation in his legs. Those poor trees will get scorched like a forest fire in Canada.

The climb looks tough. This is Pidders territory alright.

Well, we thought that last year - and he came down with a bug and finished 4th........Again he won't have a great starting position, but it's a gamble they've decided is worth taking. Could be worse - starting at the back like MvdP.

I saw some shots of British Trinity rider Cam Mason on the course.....he'll give him any info beforehand.

European Championships for juniors starting in approx. 30 minutes in Anadia. #1 in the world Sivert Ekroll from Norway against XCC winner Mikkel Lose and the phenom Albert Philipsen from Denmark. Live timing should be available here: https://www.fpciclismo.pt/classificacao/prova2.php.

In the Team Relay, Albert Philipsen did a lap of 10:02, quicker than even Boichis.

MvdP & Vader entered for the Worlds for the Dutch, as are Terpstra, Tauber and Puck. Fem has declined an entry so she can concentrate on preparing for the CX season.

No surprises in the Dutch women's race - Puck beats Anne Tauber by over 3 mins. Morris Gruiters wins the mens in a bunch finish....

A shame that British Cycling can't provide the same coverage as they do for Road, CX Nationals.....relying on others with a few cameras for the coverage.

He was home here in Boulder, CO when it happened. We are all gutted. RIP. Yesterday two riders on a tandem were hit and severely injured after be struck by a motorcycle on one of the mountain roads. The motorcyclist died after crashing trying to flee the scene. Be careful out there everyone. 😟

Yes, you can be as careful as you want - it makes no difference if somebody driving a car/truck couldn't care less about your well being......You can have lights front & rear, be wearing hi-vis.....and still drivers don't see you.
