what a race... can we have something similar with Elite (after the usual 200kms of race control games of main teams)?
I have a feeling it will be more of an 'olympics' race and that it's gonna be very hard to control, especially some of the favourites (VdP and Sagan) will be pretty happy in a broken and chaotic race. Maybe I'm being too optimistic though.

UK commentators speculating that Eekhoff may have been paced back after his crash

Our commentators can't find anything at all about the sprint at the end of the race. So something earlier would make more sense than anything at the end.

Eekhoff appears to be the focus of the jury's review. Being paced back (in the cars) after his crash? . . . I mean, normally there's some flexibility there, especially after a crash. We see it all the time.

I hope EF are teaching Rutsch how to use his strength better and how to conserve energy and not throw everything out with countless useless attacks far from the finish. He's been doing that all season and while it has brought him some results it has cost him a lot of races. Today again. He wouldn't have won but he could have placed better.
