So, Uno-X (the company) has been running an ad on Danish and Norwegian TV2:

(Yeah, doesn't make any sense if you don't speak Danish or Norwegian (or possibly Swedish)... and even then; it's weird!)

And... kinda had me wondering: How many confused looks from passer-bys did they get?
Just imagine; you're heading to your local Uno-X station to fuel your car and... you come across that.

What a Tour!

- historical first stage win
- 6th GC (best Tour GC for a 2nd division team since Voeckler in 2010?)
- cemented themselves on @Red Rick ‘s blacklist

The only miss were a little bit of lack of success in the sprints (but Wærenskjold 3rd and 4th were decent) and that Magnus Cort was almost invisible the entire Tour because of sickness.

I’d give them 9,5/10 based on realistic expectations and hope.

Bystrøm, Tjøtta and Storm Ingebrigtsen will transfer to Uno-X, but I think they need some bigger and bolder signings to keep progressing. Kristoff retiring should free some funds.
I wonder if they are trying Tobias Lund, who seems to be finishing contract with Picnic. It would be a great fit for their classics schedule. More than just bigger and bolder, they need some experienced riders to help their younger team members with what will be an increasingly WT schedule, riders with multiple GTs in their legs. My suggestions: Asgreen, Juul-Jensen; joker: Tobias Lund.

Everything indicates that Tobias Lund is going to Decathlon and that the contract is already signed. I think the remaining Danes on the wish list is Asgreen, Foldager and potentially Honore and Hellemose.

not sure. Larsen found his niche in .2 racing where an attacking style is more often rewarded, but Uno-X doesn't do those races anyway.

But there's indeed not much point in recruiting only riders that would otherwise struggle to find a job at this level anyway instead

In this 3 year cycle they have managed:
  • World Tour license for 2026-2028
  • Tour de France stage win
  • 6th at the Tour
  • 64 wins
  • 11th in the 2025 ranking
  • Wins with 5 riders that have come up through their own development team (Løland, THJ, AHJ, Leknessund, Fredheim) + Abrahamsen who joined when the team started back in 2016
In 2026 there will also be a lot of World Tour riders that have come up through Uno-X: Foss, Træen, Gudmestad, Charmig (assuming he will get another WT-contract), Price-Pejtersen.

Hopefully a WT-license will attract a secondary sponsor and that they can get a Development team up before 2027.

Didn't they deliberately choose not to have a devo team, because they'd rather work closely with the Danish and Norwegian conti-teams?
This also shows with their two Neo-pros joining the team for next year:
Ingebrigtsen being signed for Coop, and Svarre from ColoQuick.

Fantastic season and a well deserved promotion to WT, even if facilitated by Lotto/Intermarches merger.

Despite issues with some of the their big guys (Cort absent for half the season, THJ injury before Lombardia, Kron unwell, Kristoff naturally fading) it’s impressive how their middle class of homegrown talents stepped up and delivered. It’s much due to that that they’ve managed to secure the promotion.

Moment of the season that in retrospect tipped the scales: THJ climbing the Ventoux sick and stopping multiple times holding for dear life, getting oxygen at summit and back the next day, eventually securing a 6th place in the GC.
