Armstrongs fraud case was in a real court, and he also has admitted to his doping. Wouldn’t matter if a court threw out a test result.CAS also holds zero weight when it comes to real courts.
It's why Heras is the 2005 Vuelta winner. He appealed through a real court where the UCI and WADA had to adhere to established procedure. Procedure was violated. This invalidated his positive test.
I suspect Armstrong would have his suspension overturned if he appeals through a real court, not the kangaroo CAS
Coming from CGTN I would take that with probably an entire shaker of salt tbh.American journalist suggests U.S. could be barred from the 2028 Olympics over doping scheme:
This guy is a moron. USADA didn't allow dopers to use drugs like this guy says, USADA found positives, then told the offenders they could either get sanctioned, or act as undercover for further investigation.American journalist suggests U.S. could be barred from the 2028 Olympics over doping scheme:

USADA and WADA are in a pissing match currently, WADA is more corrupt, but USADA is motivated primarily through political ends rather than cleaning up any sport.
Just seeing what this 'news network' is...it's Chinese propaganda lol. USADA pissed on WADA for covering up Chinese offenses (VP of WADA is an ex-Chinese Olympic speed skater...).
Erriyon Knighton was cleared for a doping positive.
There are two separate issues facing USADA, and the examples like Knighton are a different one from the allowing-doped-athletes-to-continue-to-compete-under-the-pretence-of-informants one.
The reason CHINADA and the Chinese-controlled media is zeroing in on the Knighton example is that it's the exact same offence as the Chinese swimmers, but while USADA happily waved away the American athlete testing positive as being from a tainted meat product, they are refusing to accept WADA's verdict of the same when it comes to the Chinese swimmers, which is why they're being accused of double standards and hypocrisy, and why AIU have asked to see the evidence on which Knighton was cleared.
The thing is, USADA might well be correct about the Chinese swimmers, but when you have the record USADA have of covering up or at the very least not disclosing positives allowing doped athletes to avoid sanction (regardless of the reason, it's a breach of the WADA code that USADA were so keen to see Russia banned for breaking), then you sacrifice the moral high ground and it means that when you start morally grandstanding over others, it begets some kind of pushback. They're lucky that the Chinese have been so heavy-handed and blatant in their propaganda campaign that they've thus far been able to easily sidestep the hard questions.
No need to ban American athletes from participating. Revoke the rights of USADA and authorise CHINADA to take over the testing of their athletes. Job doneAmerican journalist suggests U.S. could be barred from the 2028 Olympics over doping scheme:
