I had to drive a U-haul truck from Durango to GJ over Red Mountain Pass.

As far as a stage ending ontop there, that would be cool, but there is no room up there. It wouldn't be bad to have the finish in Ouray, because it's not like there is a long straightaway for things to come back together..
The descend into Ouray is beautiful. Definitely had to be on the down hill. You can barely fit anything on "Red Mountain" pass.

I'm cringing thinking of how Phil & Paul would pronounce Ouray

Because the stupid tennis has gone to 3 sets and a tiebreak and the tiebreak is a long one aswell -.-

Eurosport this end dumped the first hour of frozen picture in favour of an hour montage of motorbike crashes.
Typical Eurotrash.
Bri Smithy says we haven't missed much. Why am I not surprised?
5 turns in 35kms is not much of a talking point.

Did I just say a man kneeling down in the middle of the road to take a picture inside the final kilometer?

Completely idiotic spectators.

Skil way too early at the front, they didn't watch the Vuelta today I think. Liquigas did a good job leading Viviani out.

Skil have, except van hummel maybe, their C-squad here including stagaire Oostlander.

Ofcourse they're not as good as superman Veelers

Did you catch that comment while the riders were going through the feed zone? Liggett recalled how Tom Simpson claimed he only needed his jam 'butties' (or 'buddies'?) to get through a race. Effing clueless!

Nice to see Mørkøv showing a morsel of form, considering he will probably get the chance at the worlds now.

In fact they have all three of their stagaires there in Colorado, Oostlander, Ludvigsson and Ries.
