There are probably some fast riders that can get over the last climb so somebody will chase eventually

that's kinda weird, seing little Schleck in a break and doing some work. Hope that's a longer lasting phase in his way of riding ;)

On the summit of Swan Mountain. Crowds are off the hook. Any way to upload pictures directly from an iPhone? If so I will post pics.

Credit where it's due: Andy Schleck has been in some breakaways this year, if I recall correctly he did it in Andalucia, Switzerland.... He has been trying! Oh and that breakaway in the Tour:)

So do we think the break will stay away? I'm not sure who I'd pick in a sprint between Basso, Ten Dam and Peterson.

Unfortunately I don't think it's possible. They have to be uploaded on an image hosting site first.

Basso seems to me the most unlikely. I just can't see him sprinting:)

EDIT: He beat Duarte in a sprint earlier this year so he may turn out to be the best sprinter in the break.

Is that Forster's team at the head of the peloton? If he's feeling good, the break may not stand a very big chance.

Basso has power on the flat but not much acceleration, he could go for a long one. I think Ten Dam wins if they stay away.

Ten Dam is an absolutely awful sprinter, he needs to get away solo as well.

Isn't everyone in the breakaway terrible sprinters? Will be the slowest sprint ever, perhaps even slower than that one in KBK when Traksel won :p

I wanna see the workloads, Schleck seems to be doing most of the pulling literally. What the hell is Basso doing when it's his turn? He's like slowing them down:(

By a logical process of elimination, I arrive at Tom Peterson as today's winner.:D
As far as I know it's a downhill sprint so that excludes the other 3:) Seriously, if it comes to that I would bet on Schleck

I must say: the race was a bit boring this year but the place is very scenic and it may turn out, with a more balanced parcours, a very nice race, and another stone in the path to the Worlds to the guys not riding the Vuelta.

I'd like to see Peterson win, solely because he grew up fairly close to where I did. I used to see him out training in his Garmin kit and at some local races back in the Slipstream days.
