Tbf part of the reason the gap came down was bad cornering on the descent on Berrade's end. They reach the flatter sections and Berrade actually pulls away from the duo!
It was indeed.A Total rider attacks from the peloton. Could it be Brunel?
It was! Pulling that off after his breakaway, nice way to start a comeback.A Total rider attacks from the peloton. Could it be Brunel?
Someone should have told the producers that showing the finish of the rest of the top-10 is more interesting than 7 replays of someone finishing solo.
Although tbf I shouldn't complain too much, because on the whole this has been insanely good coverage for a .2.
He has the build of someone who would be not out of place as a boxer or weightlifter. Even so, he held on over the climbs.Chumil was probably not the best rider to have with you in the last kilometers. Even I look more aero on a bike than him (I hope).
Likely they'll try with Morgado, although Baroncini isn't slow either. But the finish should suit Morgado very well.Bling looks like a good bet for Saturday's Ruta de la Cerámica. Shame De Lie pulled out as the uphill finish would have suited him. Otherwise what will UAE do now that Hirschi has moved on. Hope that Christen or Covi can replace him?
With 60km to go it's down to three minutes for the four in the break.
The Lidl Trek Dev rider is called Nils Aebersold. Reminds me of a rider from 20-25 years ago.
