Pescador winning?

No thanks, not after sitting on the wheel the entire time. Scaroni was the best winner this race could have under the circumstances.

It was nice to have a legitimately good race to watch to somewhat restore my faith in cycling after the UAE barneskirenn in TDU and cancellation of the queen stage.

Watching Quintana, Soler and Poels attack has been like going back in a time machine.

To me it just looked like Tiberi hadn't studied the roadbook and was surprised by the early move of Pescador.

Honestly I think Tiberi just wanted a result. He would have pulled till the end no matter the route.

I like both and I think he did the right thing in the situation but Scaroni made the race so didn't want him to lose like that. If it was one of the big twitter-popular riders he was sat on I would've been cheering for him to Gerrans them just because it would've been funny to see the outrage.

He did what Mads Pedersen should be trying to do to VDP and Pogacar in the classics, for example (he wont).

He's down for Saturday's race so it can not have been too bad.

It was no easy training ride on Friday- 40 km/h and up and down so Vino has been cracking the whip during training.

Yes, they finally did. I was so desperate I checked out Tiz and they have a stream too. Yay, I get to see the race!

I don't have any high hopes for Quintana today because his once a year moment in the sun came yesterday.

Currently there's a break of 6 riders, and I'm not familiar with any of them. They have a gap of over 2 minutes with 62km to go...

It looks like it's a bit chilly because the riders are wearing jackets, quite the contrast to the TDU where they have to shower and pack themselves with water bottles and ice socks.

Cloudy skies, no crowds to be seen... I don't mind a quiet race once in a while.

No changes in the race situation for the past 20km, all quiet on the western front.
