the tdu is a bead of the anal variety.
hate the wt system, but it is what it is and greenedge have delivered where it matters.
yeah but still it's kind of laughable that the victory of Gerrans in TDU is worth more than Cancellara in the Monte Paschi Eroice (worth 0 points) or wins in similar heavily contested ProCT races.

This blog gives an idea of how chaotic conditions were at the finish: http://pedalierweb.wordpress.com/2012/03/21/ir-para-nada-es-es-sufrimiento/

Two Spanish journalists arrived at the finish before the organisation, and it was they who put the finish line down with some tape they had in the car. When the riders arrived, the officials had to note down their numbers by hand, and even asked the main group to slow down in order to do so.

Fuglsang is out of race with a injury on his hand (fractured scaphoid) after having been involved in the early crash yesterday

Jeannesson and Kritskiy didn't start as well, don't know for which reason

Im sure levi will attack. I hope its awesome. But at this point im just ready for the cobbled classics. Most people are probably just done with the volta b/c of the stage cancellation and stuff.

I think you've forgotten what side of the Atlantic this race is on. Levi usually reserves his aggressive riding for races in the states where the competition isn't as challenging. Now maybe he's found a new lease on his cycling life with the change in teams and might feel energized enough to be the antagonist instead of following wheels. We'll see.

I hope Kritskiy doesn't have some kind of injury, that guy has had enough bad luck for an entire career.

since the giro features a lot of mountains and he climbs really well.

really well?? radioshakc simply have no gc men for the giro, also not fuglsang. finishing 10th or 9th or something in a gc is meaningless and stupid. I would say it's even pathetic. go for a stage win for crying out loud but in recent years anglophone teams have bombared top ten gc placings as something important. but I have news for them; other than the podium. nobody cares or remembers
