Some information about the ITT of today.

• Road should be dry for everyone
• Wind can get up to 50km/h
• Start is very technical with not a minute of being able to just sit in TT position. The wind will be blowing in the back
• The hill is very irregular, and you need to give it your all because afterwards there is time to recuperate
• There's only 1 time check, at the top of the hill
• After the hill the wind will mostly blow from the side

Advantage Evenepoel for starting late and having reference times.
vs
Advantage Almeida for (probably) being able to overtake a rider (Marti Pau).

Romeo (with Askey) and Sheffield (with Lastra) also have the possible advantage of overtaking a rider while that seems difficult or even impossible for McNulty (with Caruso) and Vacek (with Vermeersch) imo.

The route itself isn't safe. Barriers at the finish are moving over the street. Mostly because they kept the sponsors branding on it though.

I'm about 40 km from the start point and it's very windy around here. I wouldn't be surprised by a suspension...

Wind is staying quite strong though. I think they'll just cancel the ITT

At 14:10, the live web of the race says that barriers and so on have been removed but the race will be started at the intended times.

They should change the route so it's safer (i.e. segment with 50 kph headwind). Remco would put all those weaklings out of the time limit.
