Yeah Ineos what were you waiting on...
If Sheffield just starts riding immediately when they see Heiduk on the ground Turner always wins

Ineos will be rueing that final. August and Heiduk crash out and I think heiduk was the fastest from the break. Then Turner wins the bunch sprint from the peleton.

Crazy finale, Ineos back to crashing left and right and they still came close to win the stage with Turner.

Good win for Garcia Pierna, Herzog seemed the strongest rider of the break but started his sprint too early and spent unnecessary energy in his downhill attack. Still, great race for Red Bull with Remco taking the overall and two stages and Pellizzari showing some great legs too.

RGP rode the finale very well. Did not get baited into pulling or launching too early. You could see him even drop off a wheel or two to let nervous riders come round him

Don't think I've seen Evenepoel struggle this much after dropping everyone uphill before. He looked ragged.
Maybe that's because its only early February ? Who knows what training block he is in he middle of? He did enough to win the GC comfortably ahead of Almeida and his seated attack on Saturday was impressive.

Seeing more reasons for his fans to be positive now knowing the big objectives ahead. Next stop is UAE Tour, followed by Catalunya on March 23. We should know more about his level by the latter.

Decent racing for the stage but disappointing to see that nobody really tried anything to disrupt the RBH procession towards a 1-3 finish on GC.

it's not even that he was struggling. There was a headwind after the climb. Of course it would look like he was struggling. But he was struggling less than Almieda behind him
