Something needs to be done about this fashion trend, they look f***ing absurd, there is only one acceptable piece of apparel for an important time trial and that is a backwards 'go-faster' cycling cap and glasses if youre Laurent FIgnon.
If you’re not going to win, it just looks terrible.

you claim is looking more and more absurd by the second.

Stop digging the hole any deeper, you are about to hit the molten core
I don't understand. Both are of similar stature, both aggressive riders who like to attack from afar. They are not very fast in a sprint, although Remco has gotten better in the last year or so. Both are better in one day races, both good climbers and TT riders, both deisel riders. They are even of the same age. A lot of similarities...

I looked at Healy's record and see nothing that suggests he climbs or TTs anywhere close to peak Remco level. They might both be similar stature, both aggressive riders who like to attack from afar. But that's where the similarities end. With all due respect the Irish national champs do not compare to the level of European professional racing.

Healy's best result seem to be 2nd at 2023 Amstel? Healy was 23 then. By the same age Remco had won (for example) two LBLs, the world road race title and the 2022 Vuelta.

To say Remco is just a little bit better isn't backed up by facts.

Thank you. I forgot to add one major difference. Remco is an early bloomer while Healy is a late bloomer. When they'll both be 27, they'll basically be the same person.

Just like Roglic and Majka are;
similar weight and stature,
both turning 35 this year in the fall,
both had initial GT success at the Giro,
both attack for stage wins when out of GC at the Tour,
both had to ride the Tour with a sprinter, GC favorite, and potential top 10,
both were usurped by stronger and sometimes younger riders for the Tour,
Olympic medals

Roglic is just a little better, maybe due to getting more leadership roles. By 38 they’ll basically be the same person.

I don’t know, Majka doesn’t wheelsuck as much

Both had their best performaces wearing a yellow team jersey...

But I don't know why you are talking about Majka and Roglič. Neither of them is riding in this race...
If you were talking about Van Aert and Nils Politt, then I'd understand.

I can sort of understand where he is coming from. Roglic is so boring, bland, uninteresting and dull you hardly notice him when he does participate. Very easy to get mixed up.

I doubt he would beat Vingegaard weighing 62,187374 kg. Also, are you referring to Pogacar's bike computer?
I guess Evenepoel will start the Tour with a "mixed" weight of 61,5 kg, for the first flat and hilly stages. Then throw away a kilo in according to the Galibier stage. To quickly gain just over one and a half kg to 62,187374 kg for the not too difficult time trial. To lose another one and a half kg on the first rest day to get through the difficult mountainous second half of the Tour. There remains the final time trial on the final stage. With climbing, but also with flat parts and fast descents. If I were Evenepoel I would gain another 300 grams the night before so that he would have the perfect average weight for that difficult time trial.

I hope this scheme meets with Logic's approval.

I appreciate the effort.

I think at this stage, the forum needs an algorithm that dumps any mention of Rog or Remco into one big XXX rated adults only cycling-porn thread (The Asylum for the Cycling Insane). While we're at it, can we merge the Red Rick and Netserk accounts into one?
