Not all chains are physical. If you cant see that Danni is a different rider this year well ......
Different rider in what regard? You said he was freed from the chains of lack of opportunity at INEOS, not that BORA allows him to get to a higher level. Not only does that mean you were wrong, it also means that you are shifting goal posts.

Secondly, whilst at INEOS, Dani beat Alaphilippe, Roglic, Ulissi, Bilbao, amongst others, in a flat bunch sprint, before snatching up GC in Itzulia. I guess he turnt into a different rider for just a moment.

You better believe it....Just wind him up and let him off ..he never gives up
Still smile at his Giro attacks last year when Pinot had to keep going after him and Rohan Dennis laughing at his antics (sad to think of that now)

My point exactly ..its not the Evenepol is worse its Danni is better

Kuss was pulling today for Traknik who thanked him after the race . Kuss has little pedigree in stage races in February with long TTs...different ball game at the Vuelta, with TTs at the end of the season . But you must have great insight to write him off already

Landa today pulling on the flat and downhill and dropped on the climb ???Soudal must have wanted him for something other than climbing ?
I get to have an opinion...sorry that chafed your perineum.

Remco had no chance, with or without the gear problem, against this Dani Martinez, IMHO.
So at least be humble in defeat of the stage and victory of the race.
He did after the first mountain stage. Today it was obvious he had a gearproblem. Why shouldn't he report that? Explain. Other topriders and sprinters do the same when they have mechanical problems in the final.

Why the sour reactions when it comes to Evenepoel? It is gradually becoming pathological in some people.

He said that he lost because of that. I said I don't agree. This Dani was stronger in the sprint IMHO.
We can agree to disagree.

Never knew me being wrong and you being right meant so much to ya
esp when what I am saying about lack of opportunities is as valid as your view
Martinez imo should be leading a GT by now

I think Martinez showed pretty clearly he's quicker right now. If Remco really wanted to win he needed to have attacked earlier. I can see the chainring issue being a reason he didn't do THAT. The idea that it interfered with his sprint seems less convincing to me. Certainly not ideal either way, but Martinez out-sprinted everyone pretty easily.

Gutsy ride by Healy after getting caught. Kinda pointless but I admire the effort and desire.

yeah the way to win this would have been to counter Martinez when he made his little move with about 1.5km(?) to go.

Morgado looks like he's a 35
Evenepoel looks like he's 50
Thijssen looks like he's 60
And Martinez looks like he's a 70 year old wino.

Congratulations to Remco Evenepoel for winning the overall.

ITT proved to be too much of a challenge for other contenders, Dani and Jan should be pleased with their performances. It's early season and most riders use such races for some training and as a prep for bigger goals still i feel that Visma already positioned themselves behind SOQ and Bora and are now catching up. Lets see at O Gran Camiño if Jonas can bail them out. Interestingly Rogla opted-out of using such races for prep purposes and will rather go against Remco and Jonas directly in March and April.

Chafed and chaffed do not mean the same thing...

And it was the snide remark you made at the end of your comment that seemed to suggest you were scraped-up in the perineum area...though it seems you were chafed about more than one take. If you think everyone else is the a**hole, maybe you're introspective powers are not super sharp.
Jesus Christ are you for real ?
Your insults are disgusting....you cant take any suggestion of criticism of your comments but you are throwing around words like perineum and *** and being totally offensive..is your ego so fragile ?
I dont think everyone else is an ***. where did I say that ?
Stop taking a comment and turning it into an attack or to suit you ...not enough time in the day for this

Maybe. Martinez is the better sprinter of the two. But one can not compare the first finish at the end of a not difficult climb and the finish yesterday after a short but steep climb. It was obvious that Evenepoel made the difference after he jumped, but that his legs exploded after doing the whole climb on a heavy gear.

Moreover, Evenepoel has not yet trained for explosiveness. He will do it for the first time next week. In preparation for Paris-Nice. I'm convinced Evenepoel, if in topshape, is as strong in a uphillsprint than Roglic (he already proved he could beat Roglic uphill), Pogacar and Martinez.
