Lopez and Bernal looking good for the Giro. Who is the better timetrialist of the two?

MAL taught them a lesson this time. Astana's team is not that good though, so it's not 100% given that he wins the race.

And that salute... that isn't thumb sucking, it's fist pumping.
Superman can do everything.

Another great stage.
Who could've guessed the gradient would be enough for pure climbers.

What a colombian era we have ahead of us in cycling..... these guys will be going at it for years :)
Yeah I can’t wait for ten years of 1-2km quarter attacks. Not a single Colombian has any balls

I am really liking Lopez this year, he does some nice and attacking racing. After being pretty annoying last in the Giro and Vuelta last year he is slowly winning me over.

The likes of the Yateses, Lopez, Bernal, and probably Mas made the 1990-born elite climbers aged so fast, only yesterdays Pinot, Quintana, Aru, and Bardet were all the new sensations.

I think we have seen some pretty attacking riding relatively long down the mountain the last couple of stages, so I dont really know what that's about..

Also, the Vuelta a Colombia was the most aggressively ridden race with top climbers for years, and all the protagonists were Colombians.

I think that even our friend Scarponi himself doesn't believe in the words he's saying.

Ooh interesting. How stacked is the Giro this year? Best GC field there in a looong time. I really hope we don’t have any crashes to wreck it.

I guess that leaves Froome and Geraint to battle it out for the Tour between themselves.

Keep in mind that Aquaman Lopez attacked with 8K to go, despite the nice Sky train setup for Bernal...... So i'd say Lopez getting really strong
