with the better weather now, and the length of the final climb, I think Kuss should have a chance to still challenge the podium. But whether that's a reason to work for is a different story, of course.

Was my thaught as well. Also when they get Kuss and Uijtdebroeks into a good position in the end it doesn't hurt. Maybe they hope Pogacar wants to poker a bit today and they could profit. But I very much doubt that will happen.

This is like the second stage finish of any race I manage to watch this year so far, hope it will be entertaining, even though with a very likely winner at the end.

Jumbo knows from Granon and Loze that Pogacar is weak in long multiple mountain stages therefore took the front in order to make the race hard.
