I think Purito will be good. If you look at him during this race, he's focused and always at the front on the most important moments. He was also riding with ease, side by side with Froome and Contador, when Movistar were drilling it at the front on the 1st category climb on stage 1, when at least 80 riders were dropped. Not a sign he will follow Contador and Froome all the way up la Molina, but a sign he's focused and TA was just a prep race.

If he attacks from far and the others hesitate, he can win tomorrow. If he just follow wheels, he for sure will top-10 and maybe top-5.

In Pais Vasco i expect the old Purito who will really fight for the win.

He needs to find his inner super saiyan to win tomorrow like he did in 2014. As a DBZ fan, I could image that he sometimes think he is turning into a saiyan while he is making his explosive trademark attack. ;)

Thomas' leadout should have been better regardless of his new GC ambitions.

What leadout? He was sat on Froome's wheel at the end. The designated lieutenant for the race protecting the team leader? The team's sprinter left to fend for his own in a team of GC contenders? (probably). We'll find out tomorrow I guess

Does somebody have the gradients of the last climb tomorrow?

The stage profile is quite hard. This a new Molina climb, with a first part really hard, and a descent.

So tomorrow's climb is different from the one from last year when van Garderen won, correct?

bertie's gonna win at 99%
what's your confidence interval on that?
any alternatives? thomas is done after grueling p-n. froome is nowhere near his best because of lack of racing miles. purito's on global decline, quintana doesn't show himself in full force in one week races in these latter days, so...that is easy money.

That's nonsense. I too believe he will win but to say it is 99% sure is just odd. Maybe he has a 40% chance or so. Have you seen the startlist? Froome, Quintana, Aru, Porte, Van Garderen, Chaves, Rodriguez, Zakarin..

Yes it is true, it would be great. He is in good shape. I think he will win but not 99% sure :D
I saw this photo on twitter:

Look how comfortable Berto looks compared to Froome :p

Sky say they are ready to go full gas with Froome, G (might be a little tired after P-N and MSR crash) and Wout. I think Froome will win, Wout 3rd and Thomas 7th today.

The other teams better learn and analyzing. Sky's success is that they analyze their opponents and evaluate their own mistakes.

1. Froome
2. Contador
3. Poels
4. Purito
5. Quintana
6. Inur
7. Thomas
8. Chaves
9. Porte
10. Bardet
