i read now that there are 18 riders in front and sky is trying to pull them back, around 70k to go

Do SKY ever stop chasing ??

If the y have a man in the break you'd think they'd take a day off
Especially since Poels is the best positioned rider on GC.

I love this kind of stages, a sstage with flat and some climbs after mountains stages, with the GC in a few econds and a very hight rythm.
The pity today is not a windy day in spain, but anyway there is always a factor.

Could breakawy stay away today ....maybe even Poels could win

Movistar need to get their skates on...

Unless that is they are high jacked by that wind TAxua is going on about .
Movistar will be happy to let the breakaway mop up bonus seconds. Better for them to save energy in case they're ambushed on the Cat 2 climb.

Not strong wind, but in the right direction, so it will take influence in the long climb they start now.

I hope Verona could take the stage, but with Poels there wont be eay.

Is this the cat 2. climb? Seems pretty easy.

Would have been a cat 3. at best in the Tour.

Poels is warming up for Fleché Wallone.

He was 12th in 2014. You think he has a chance at riding into top 5 in a race like that?

He was 2nd behind Rodriguez on Valdepeñas De Jaén on a short, super-explosive finish some years ago.

Well there is Kwaitatoski and Henao ..so maybe he will have to work for them ...and before you say its every man for himself ...sometimes you need to sacrifice your ambition to get someone to the bottom of the Mur de Huy in a perfect place

Lol Kirby, the other race, the GP3! But I was hoping they would finish early in Catalonia and then go over.

Peleton will always have an issue when you allow the break 4 minutes with 40kms and around 30kms are rolling and downhill.
