Roglic didnt know it was the finish?
Yeah looked a bit weird, him showboating on his frame while the Russian started sprinting. :D Dont think he had a chance either way though.

To me it certainly looked like Roglic was caught by surprise when the finish line suddenly appeared with 250 metres left. Maybe he didnt know they were on the last lap?

When you see Froome attack like that, it's a shame he has never given it a proper crack in the Ardennes. He has the kick to really do something there.

Yes, he really showed it at the Tour last year when he annihilated everyone except Purito up MdH.

Becouse he was by far the stronger of the race, but not becouse he is explosive.

You dont need to be explosive to win Liege, Andy won the race. It i a race of endurance... Froome could be good in that race, but he was once there, he did not very well, and next days in Romandia was really strong. He is focuses in Tours, so he must do his test in Tours.

This year we have the olimpics and he is one of the favourites, of course.

FW isn't always won by an explosive attack. If Froome was on top form and tackled it like a steady paced three minute max effort, he could just ride everyone off his wheel. Valverde won last year without really putting in a massive attack.

still I have doubts on that stage.
for me Froome had the legs to win but has wavered a bit when Purito started so not resumed him.

Wow congrats to Trofimov for keeping Contador some company in the final GC. Not that it matters for the GC as Quintana was stronger but Tinkoff should be ashamed of themselves.

Poor riding by the peleton in the last 3 days - Gave the break too much time when the last 30 or 40kms was rolling or downhill. Twice the break won and the other time caught the break with 200m to go.

Accoring to De Jongh they rode a good race!

“The guys rode a good race and Alberto gave 110% as always.” said Steven. “It’s of course mixed emotions to come second again, but we can be happy with how the week has gone. The downside was that we had a bit of sickness in the team and those riders had to leave the race, but we can now recover and look towards Pais Vasco.”

It's actually sad to hear :D

Wow that's some nasty PR stuff... Seriously, I'm avaliable to ride Itzulia for Contador if Tinkoff can't field nothing better than this :D
