I like the launching pod tactic as a variation, but I'm afraid that almost never works as intended. Most of the times the supposedly helper ahead on the road is so exhausted that he doesn't help at all when his leader gets to him.

EDIT: I'm neglecting the psychological help which can, of course, be good.

To think the Vuelta organisers would not give a wildcard to Caja Rural (but Andalucia always gets one)...

ALso, Piedra is from Andalusia and left the team Andalucia just last year. :D :D
