either that or he burns out his team and then drops back and spends the rest of the stage sitting on wheels before a classic 1k attack to gain 10 seconds and gain *** all in the standings

Actually Movistar had good tactics yesterday too but they didn't have the legs either
If you don't have legs, no tactic will work and you will look like a fool
