~30-50'' the gap, seems they are kinda controlling it.
How many kms and what % is the last climb?
This is the profile, I remember reading that they'll approach the climb from a different direction though. From "Neila" on the profile should be correct:

well, unfortunately, from the break remnants there is only Brambilla to help Scarpo (Visconti in the break-killing role), looks like no chance to build serious gap before MTF

EDIT: that escalated quickly

Peloton is visible in the background, Sky doing almost all the work (for Boswell, Kennaugh?)

Scarponi has been dropped by Visconti and Brambilla, peloton catches him now. Has he blown himself up or has he conserved energy?

Contador looks a bit weird, climbing in the saddle. Brambilla and Visconti are caught now too.

Contador is perfectly positioned there.
There are 2-3 riders in the front group ready to crack with the first rhytmh change.

Contador will try in the penultimate km, the steepest
I'd rather see him try sooner, he needs to take seconds if he wants to take the GC as well

If he felt good, he would have attacked already. He's just staying down now looking for an opportunity.
