For the race profile, I think they should have a stage with a finish to La Bola del Mundo. Isn't it in Castilla y Leon region as well?

Yes it is. In fact, in the final stage they climb Navacerrada, which forms the bulk of the Bola del Mundo climb. Unfortunately, they won't do the actual Bola del Mundo part ;)

yeah exactly. I'ven done Puerta de Navacerrada this year (by car though :p) and i remember, while visiting the aqueduct in Segovia, there was an annotated panoramic map of the region, showing Bola del Mundo.
I guess that having so many nice climbs close to Madrid helps make the vuelta finish more interesting.

So Taaramae is back? I thought he was diagnosed with Mononucleosis. Can he recover that fast from it?
He says virus has gone from blood and he is feeling good last weeks.
Still don't count on him winning, as he is not sure he can compete with best at the moment.

from Steephill:

"It appears, according to the tv guide, there is only delayed coverage starting at 22:00 CET each day; however, our source for live links is indicating there will be live coverage starting at 16:00 CET. We'll see."

boo for the stream, but I guess with the Spanish economy, we should be happy there is a race at all.

A 25 kms de meta. La etapa entra en su recta final. Shilov (Lokosphinx), Pedraza (EPM-UNE), Wetterhall (Endura Racing) y Zingle (Cofidis) mantienen más de 2 minutos.

According to one earlier ticker-update (at 80K from the finish), it seems Rabo is 'controlling the race'... So I guess they are out of contention for the win.

A 80 kms de meta. Rabobank controla al frente del pelotón, Thoe Bos y Graeme Brown son sus dos hombres rápidos.

Napolitano is here, but there is probably only a 20% chance he makes it to the line with the peloton
