So many weird decisions. Seemingly some sort of flat loop after the final descent on stage 10, finishing at the pass rather than the summit at Manzaneda, Ancares from the wrong side (okay, that makes sense if León is paying but it's bookended by other weak options), weak side of Leitariegos with nothing before it on a descent finish, Estranguada on an otherwise-flat stage rather than stage 20, Tornos as the penultimate climb on stage 20, and once again very low on the TT mileage (do like Madrid being a TT though). On the plus side, the Hazallanas stage is exciting, there are barely any sprint stages (not out of the question that the last full sprint is stage 5 which is insane), the terrain is more varied than it's been in recent editions and the pacing seems fine. It's very much a mixed bag - I certainly don't dislike it, but I also feel like I could have liked it a lot more if they'd been a little more ambitious and/or sensible with certain stages.
