It's tongue-in-cheek Rog humor. But you can also read between the lines.

Just like last Friday on Ancares the plan was clear: drill the foot of the climb US Postal blue train style and launch Rog. I assume the question then was 'stage win or not stage win'.

So Denz did the work with Gamper on the flat and ensured the team got their third stage win of this Vuelta.

Roglič wanted to spare guys from pulling all day and holding break close. He wanted a break to win and him attacking GC guys only.
Guys didn't want to be sparred. They wanted to work for him and putting him in a position to win the stage. I'm sure if he would say he doesn't feel good, they would stop pulling anyway.

If that is not a team, i don't know what it is. Guys are willingly working for him beyond what's needed.

It was a right call by the team (if that is true) in my opinion. He has a healty margin now and other podium contenders will need to pull today. He needs only to cover the attacks now.

The man basically crashes and wobbles for fun even in GTs he wins. This time he gave someone 7 minutes for free only to have to torch him like 5 times to get it all back.

I think there is a difference between pulling and then him saying during stage he feels good and doing what they did at the end.

They could also just be pulling our legs.
