Talk going around of Roglic ditching the leader's jersey for some peace and quiet after the stages.
So ..... who'll be a candidate? Little Lenny M got the privilege last year and there's a whole bunch of guys down on GC already. Be interesting to see who gets in the break of the day.

my prediction is that Roglic will let the breakay take the red gersy. he is not Pogacar and is team is not UAE, so he will just follow moves if they'll happen. plenty of mountains still to come, so i bet selective breakaway will be allowed to go, and have large margin.

Could well be, but how about UAE send someone up the road near the end to make Roglic chase and keep the jersey?

Sivakov said that him, del Toro and Soler were those appointed to try to sneak into the breakaway on stage 4. I doubt Bora would currently allow Sivakov and del Toro to do so, but Soler should normally be a good contender indeed.

While being a huge Roglic fan, I find that "giving the jersey away" behaviour rather arrogant. I hope Bora isn't like that. Also, there's more competition than in the past and quite some GC guys are looking for stage 4 redemption, so it would be in their interest to make the race hard, eh?

I demand a Supermercados Froiz in the Galician stages and an Eroski next time they're in País Vasco.

Meanwhile all the soigneurs are frantically scouring the pharmacy aisle to see what ointments, creams and tablets contain doping products and can be blamed if anything untoward should happen, Yannik Sinner/Therese Johaug style.
