Wow,
taking about making moves o_O Congrats to Adam Yates. It was worth the initiative & the effort to win the stage & climb up in the GC.
O'Connor looks solid & did a great ride today.
Mas looks good - hoping he gets his stage win
Roglic ........ luckily, he profited nicely from O'Connor's work

Actually, this outcome wasn't too bad for Roglic. Apart from shipping 4 seconds to O'Connor, it was actually good for him. For Mas this will be a little blow, that his effort didn't pay off. Great to have such an interesting race at our hands!

insane ride by Carapaz, it's a shame that descent is way too easy to stay away from a group on. you have to be Santi Perez or TurboVino to do it.

I think AG2R are racing this perfectly but I'm still a little sad Galls shape has to be used for team work. This might have been his very rare chance to get a GT podium, he's looking that good.
I don't even wanna start that discussion...

I think Yates' and Carapaz' ended up being rather indifferent for gc so the big stories are
1. Roglic couldn't drop O'Connor
2. Mas was by far the strongest
3. In the end they all finished together

Even though 1. and 2. sound like big stories I still see Roglic as the clear favorite. This feels like the Galibier stage in the 2007 TdF when sadly for Contador the only day when he could emphatically drop his opponents was also the one mountain stage with a long rolling descent at the end.

All the posters on here saying Ben O connor would lose so much time to Roglic today havent a clue ...He was 4th in Tour and Giro ...what more do you need to know
I thought he would lose another 45’ today, but who knew Roglic would be on an off day? Tell me, is that really “haven’t a clue,” or you’re just annoyed?
