The riders at Vuelta a España have voted to neutralise, and so effectively stop racing, if there are further protests during stage 17 of the race.

Today's stage has therefore been canceled by prefectural decision. The absence of law enforcement officers requisitioned for the "Block Everything" action has forced the prefecture to cancel all demonstrations in the department today. Tomorrow's stage, however, will take place as normal.
