Again, it looked to me like it was perfectly clear and Agnolli still screwed up. Look for my previous reply to you for an explanation
After further watching, I must say that Nibali is the only person to blame for losing 8 sec. bonus. It's now clear that he was mad at Sagan, not Agnoli. He was expecting Agnoli to lead him out for the win. He must have thought Sagan opened the sprint and Lastras followed when in fact it was the opposite. He didn't want to sprint for 3rd, and that why you see Agnoli asking him to go by him, but he was too mad to care for an 8-second bonus.

Just downloaded a torrent and finished watching now. It looked like Sagan was just reacting to Lastras seeing as they went at pretty much the same time.

Very impressive move by Liquigas anyway. That bonus won't matter much when Nibali inevitably wins this Vuelta.

Also looking back at the tv pics, it's noticeable how much Tony Martin was doing on the front of the Chavanel / Rodriguez group to try and close the gap on the Liquigas riders. Has he got a team for next season yet ?

noticed that too. tony martin had no need whatsoever to pull big time for the second group. unless, he was pulling for chavanel, whose red jersey was in jeopardy.. his potential teammate next season?

Hmm Im not convinced by Wiggins here. Why would he put Froome on the front up sierra nevada, but go to the back here? Maybe Wiggins told Taaramae his injury is why he did, or maybe Taaramae is guessing.

Is he struggling, or did he just think the stage was not going to change the GC? He did finish to the front in the chase group.

Lastras spoiled the party. Nothing else Sagan could have done nor Nibali who is not a sprinter. Did they really think Lastras would not fight for the win ?

Wiggins is on antibiotics for a throat infection apparently, which might explain him possibly weakening near the end of the climb. I'd be surprised if Wiggins thinks sitting at the back of the pack is safer. He's spoken about how he'd enjoy Cavendish joining Team Sky, so that he could then sit safely in a lead out train at the end of stages.
