I would like to see some o forum people working in the siesta time in Sevilla outside, instead in a officce ....:)

Even for spanish that came from the north (like me) people from Andalucia is called "vagos" (lazy people), until we visit the south in summer....

I'm from seville and I've been working here in the siesta time with more than 40 degrees outside but of course with the AC running at full throttle.

I see ACF has been making a few more friends again.

I don't know how the US fits into this argument, buuuuutttt.......
...........if you want a real example of truly poor production values
and total technical inadequacies, look no further than the current
Tour of Colorado.
They are averaging about 70% "live" pictures from their live coverage,
and much of that suffers from picture break up and pixelation.
Yesterday, according to the production company, this was due to......wait for it
.........sunshine on the plane's wing.
The day before icing on the same place.

They couldn't manage any intermediate timings and had a clock at the finish that appeared to add a random number of seconds, once a rider crossed the line.

Eurosport's Carlton Kirby, who usually worships at the alter of US efficiency, has now begun to treat the coverage as a thing of ridicule; the butt of many a joke.

Now, as far as trying to pin the culture stereotype pin this donkey; the two adjectives I would use to described the US? Wealthy and workaholic.

I didn't know that a critique of TV quality would evoke such zenophobia. I seriously doubt if anyone this side of the Atlantic has even heard of Carlton Kirby, much less care what he / or she might think. Getting back to reality...

I've only seen part of Stage 4 of the USAPCC (not tour of C) and the HD image quality is stunning.

Picture breakup and pixilation seemed more than during the Tour
Most sound broadcast was good.
Motorcycle shots seemed to have better content and flow. I felt more like I was "in the mix".
I absolutely HATE it when producers feel they have to play fast temp rock music as background to highlight commentary. Apparently they don't think it is "interesting" enough without.
Of course P&P chanting puts me in a hypnotic trance instantly. And yet far less disagreeable than Steve and GoGo who only sound like they are hyping.

I'm coming to the conclusion that NOBODY does it better than the French.
