C'mon man, it is like saying bardet is better sprinter thsn sagan or kwia... how do you know if they never faced each other in a sprint?Irondan said:How would you know? They're hardly ever descending the same roads together with the same objectives.portugal11 said:Huh? Sagan, kwia are way betterIrondan said:Bardet?cipurian said:Who is considered best descender nowadays?
Sagan is a heavier rider, going downhill that makes him obviously faster than bardet, but does that diminish Bardet's descending skills? I don't think so.The Barb said:Irondan said:How would you know? They're hardly ever descending the same roads together with the same objectives.portugal11 said:Huh? You don't need Bardet and Sagan to descend together to know who's better. You just need eyes.
Dekker_Tifosi said:of the favorites maybe. Of the whole peloton hell no. There are probably at least 20 sprinters who can descend faster
Ataraxus said:Among the GC guys? Or overall?
Cause Sagan and Kwiat would like to have a word.
skippo12 said:Probably one of the guys in the grupetto. Among the contenders Nibali is by far the best.
Overall. Watching these guys I just can't help, but appreciate their skills. Especially someone like Taylor Phinney. I took a few minor tumbles few years back and my confidence was never there anymore. Do riders go all out on training rides as well or they leave just for races?Ataraxus said:TMP402 said:cipurian said:Who is considered best descender nowadays?
Don Vincenzo still I think.

No crash in the main group reported by the SpanishTV guy in the motodeValtos said:Where is the rest of the peloton???
Was there a crash we missed or something.

deValtos said:That was like a magic trick, 80% of the group just disappeared without being shown at all.
