Wall rack question

Hi everyone,

I am interested in getting a wall rack for my 2 bikes. The last time I had one, my main road bike had the rear brake cable routed through the top tube (gotta love steel). Now that the rear brake cable is exposed under the top tube, I'd rather not have it rub against the finish and/or pull when it's on the rack. Does anybody know a good model to deal with this?

My Thule trunk mount rack has slots for the cable, so I'm wondering if any wall racks have the same type of thing.

Thanks.

Thanks. The problem is that I'm a renter, and I don't want to go drilling holes in the walls. I'm looking for a gravity rack, so I can just lean it against a wall, and not do any damage.

I have the same issue but did not really care about marring the finish until now. However I will now cut two rectangles of thread from an old tire (or other material) and place them between the frame and the cable.

I'm pretty sure you can find a wooden gravity stand... get one of those, file or cut grooves where needed, line with felt...

Or, make your own stand... copy design, use 2X4 studs, use screws to construct. Use felt to line "feet" and bike supports. Stain or paint.
Probably just need a saw, drill and bits, screw driver, sissors, files, sandpaper, paint brush. And a couple of hours of your time.

If you live near a Home Depot, they'll even cut the wood for you...
