Has ANYONE any idea how to do this any more? We had a Eurosport account, but they do not show LIVE racing any more. I have tried and tried to use my VPN - to sign up to Discovery Channel. But - from wherever! - they refuse to accept even a Paypal subscription because 'the payment account-holder is not located in this country'.
Why should they even CARE??
If anyone can help with this, it would make my Christmas!

When there's a race I can't watch through our official channels, I just go to tiz-cycling.

Sometimes you need to refresh the screen, and restart it, but at least I get to see almost every race.

If you are scared of Tiz, and who isn't, just vpn to various state broadcasters and suffer the language barrier.

What Potomac says, VPN to either France or Germany and watch their broadcasts.

Hi - appreciate the advice. Problem is - The Classics. Starting in February, in Flanders. And Belgian broadcasting is all via TNT... I also loved the commentary on Eurosport. I was really hoping to find a sneaky way to get around Discovery Plus's dumb restrictions...

Eurosport has moved to HBO; you need an HBO Max account with Sport option to watch the old Eurosport streams.
And thereby hangs the problem. You cannot do this (from here in Luxembourg) - opening an account via a VPN, in say Belgium or France - without using a payment card registered in these countries! I guess I will have to try this TIZ stream...

You can't get NordVPN in Luxembourg?

You mean there is no HBOmax in Luxembourg?

I have Nord VPN. There is no HBOMax in Luxembourg - it just says "Not available in this region". If I use Nord to change to wherever - Ireland, Belgium, Nederland - and open an account, when it comes to the payment it will not accept payment from a card not issued in that country/region. It's complete bo***cks.

Believe me, I tried. In fact, that was the first thing I tried. They just reject the payment! When you think about it - Luxembourg - come on! We are in the heart of bloody cycling. It's the national religion - like in Belgium. It's so frustrating.

You don’t need to pay anything (aside from the cost of the VPN service which you already have) to watch Belgian broadcasts of the classics via VPN. You do have to register (on RTBF.be for example), but it doesn’t require a credit card. Are you determined to only watch only with English-language commentary?
