I don't know about in the city, but the place in Waccabuck (near my in-laws) was $25 for a large in 2017. I was shocked that a pie could be over $20, let alone $25.

That’s a pricey area in general I would think. Aside from pockets of local workers and their communities maybe. Some good riding and the relaxed Empire trail. And small breweries seem to be holding on for now.

Yes, that is an expensive place to live. In relation to the cost of houses though, food is reasonably priced...I guess.

Important question, is beer better in bottles or cans? My palette my be undeveloped but I never notice any difference in taste. I find the 'experience' of drinking beer from a bottle is better elevating the beer to what I perceive to be a more premium product . Cans are more convenient , generally less expensive,
much lighter to carry and taking up minimal space when crushed for disposal.

If I'm at home I pour beer into a pint glass because I prefer to off-gas beer a bit before drinking it. IMO the can or the bottle doesn't change the taste of the beer. I tend to buy in cans for several reasons, but mostly because the local brews are in cans.

Thanks! sometimes I do find better beer in bottles but I think that is more to do with the fact that smaller breweries find bottling easier. Drinking cans I often pop the ring before requirement to allow excess gas to be released. Now I'm more genteel I prefer drinking from a glass.
When I was younger I liked to pop cans ring pull with my teeth and lever off bottle tops similarly when I could! Then I would only drink the beer from the container it came in.
