none of the above.

folks don’t forget that jv is the president of the AIGCP. i think his message is related to some uci rule change where jv’s team already pioneered. something about riders’ rights or anti doping where gt organizers figure too.

Think you're right. It must be the UCI's new "catch a cheat DVD" sent out to all cyclists. This most certainly will shut down the likes of Ferrari and Fuentes.

Didn't everyone get excited the last time JV said he had big, amazing news and all that transpired was Garmin being powered by pomegranate juice (well, the colour's about right, at least.)

He's agreed to move to Girona as well. Pinto as only about 2 hours away.

I have made that drive many times. It has to be closer 6-7 hours and stupid boring.

"Received some incredibly exciting, positive, and great news for our team and cycling in general last night. However, I can't talk about it."JV

Considering the timing, the -08 TdF samples are being retested, maybe VdV got on the -08 TdF podium?

I don't think that would really count as great news for cycling in general though. I mean, catching cheats is good, but the sheer quantity of cheats is not exactly great or exciting (although they'll be positive, of course).

True that. Just a wild guess on my part.
Positive is not a good word to use in cycling world...

I assume he meant by aeroplane? I have no idea how fast the trains are in Spain either.

Sounds like JV and LL are on to something. ToC to PT status will help them draw numbers from the Giro organisers

I tend to agree with this possibility as well...
