What does each team stand for?

I'd be interested to hear what the forum thinks every team's purpose is.

What type of rider do they like to develop, what region do they recruit from, which other teams do they use as feeders/feed to, and so on.

For example, we can obviously say Sky has close links to the national cycling programme, recruit young talent from their home country, and their main thrust is winning the Tour de France with a British rider.

But if possible I'd like to hear about the purpose of lower-profile teams, like Wanty, Topsport, UHC, Androni, etc.

Androni stands for Gianni Savio somehow someway scraping together enough money (mostly by fraudelent pay to ride deals with both riders and national associations) so his ridiculous jersey which is basically a white kit with 48 different company logo's on it can be seen in the peloton, preferably showcased by some small guy in a break with Savio hangout of the team car behind. _0_

Topsport Vlaanderen is easy: creating an environment for young talented Flemish cyclists to develop themselves, so they can earn a place on a bigger team, preferably a WT team.

Southeast - feed Pippo Pozzato's ever-expanding ego

Hmm, you know that Southeast team already existed before Pozzato going there and that it is a chinese steel company, right?

And if anybody benefited from that move was the Southeast team, because it gave them the notoriety they wouldn't have without Pozzato.
