I think it was mentioned in the forum that Bontrager was a sponsor as well as Spidermeh and that the former has ties to LA.

So...maybe something maybe nuttin.

There's just not a lot of money in Canada for cycling. It's the same thing that happened to Symmetrics; they needed to expand their program but the money just wasn't there. The choice was to race the same abbreviated schedule for another year or release the riders and try to put together the needed infrastructure for the following year.

Of course, that's incredibly risky because without the riders (Tuft, Pinner, Meier, etc) you don't have much to sell to investors.
